Black&white Arved: Although the big money in calendars lies in color transparencies, calendar publishers offer a good market for black and white pictures, as well. Subject matter desired in black and white is the same as in color. Payment for a black and white shot is only about a tenth of the price for color, but that still is high enough to be profitable.

Wingspread 4-5 inches; wings rich red-brown bordered with black; white spots scattered through the black; veins of wings outlined with black; body black with white spots.
The pure white is the first strain to have become fixed in rats. It is now a distinct breed. Next was developed the white with black head and shoulders, then the white with black head and spots along the back. The more recent colors developed are yellow, buffs, creams, blues, smokes, brindles, and blacks, but these are still not as common as white.
