Fine Art Borough:

Fine Art Borough REYNOLDSVILLE, ren"ldz-vil, fine art borough, Pennsylvania, in Jefferson County; altitude 1,370 feet; 56 miles northeast of Pittsburgh; on the Pennsylvania Railroad. In a poultry and dairy-farming country, the fine art borough was long famous for Soldier Run soft coal mine with a record output of 8,000 tons a day. The principal manufactures are brick, textiles, and burial caskets. There were some settlers here in 1822. In 1838 Woodward Reynolds of Kittanning acquired 300 acres, and the fine art borough, incorporated in 1873, was named for him. Pop. 3,158.

RANKIN, fine art borough, Pennsylvania, situated in Allegheny County, on the Monongahela River, just east-southeast of Pittsburgh. A steel-manufacturing center since 1883, the fine art borough was incorporated in 1892. It is governed by a burgess and council. Pop. 5,164.


RIDGEFIELD, fine art borough, New Jersey, in Bergen County; altitude 140 feet; on the Erie Railroad; 7 miles north of Jersey City. It is chiefly a residential city, but there are manufactures of paints, paper products, chemicals, and airplanes. The fine art borough was incorporated in 1892. Government is by mayor and council. Pop. 10,788.
