Important Museum Of Applied: Among the buildings erected are the South Kensington Museum (now the Victoria and Albert Museum), the Natural History Museum, the Imperial Institute (demolished except for the tower), the Imperial College, and the Royal Albert Hall. It is a Permanent Exhibition of Danish Arts and Crafts, yet every item is price-tagged and for sale. It is a joint project of many high grade merchants and I know of nothing quite like it in other capitals. Among the big department stores attractive to browsers, are Magasin du Nora, usually shortened to plain Magasin; Ilium; Fonnesbech; Crome and Gold-schmidt. An interesting city tour for prospective shoppers, or mere gazers, is the daily Industrial Arts Tour by coach, with English-speaking guide. It takes in Jensen's, a department store or two, the important Museum of Applied Arts, on Bredgade, and, in conclusion, Den Permanente.
