Since 1945 great technical advances have been made in photographic technology. The sensitivity of film has been increased; exposure problems have been simplified by the introduction of photoelectric meters that not only measure the light, but when built into cameras can automatically set shutter times or lens apertures. The most innovative contribution was the invention by Edwin H.
