Practical And Fine Art: Call for Applications for Fine Furnishings Show
Producers of the Fine Furnishings Shows in Providence, Rhode Island and Milwaukee, Wisconsin are accepting applications from artisans interested in being invited to exhibit.
Each Fine Furnishings Show presents a marketplace for handcrafted furniture, decorative accessories and original art.
The First Annual Fine Furnishings Milwaukee Show takes place September 23 & 24, 2006 at the Midwest Airline Center.
Photographic calling cards, with the customary printing on one side and on the other any picture which the client might desire, are entirely practical and fine art through working with the quantity photo specialists. Postcards, calendars (the pocket calendar is a popular advertising item), and other advertising items all become practical and fine art at low cost when you farm out the printing.
All the successful schemes that we know of incorporate these three elements, and allow each its due weight. Each needs care and consideration in terms of its practical and fine art applications and its wider implications.
In this chapter we look briefly at these elements in turn, considering the role of each in setting up a PACT reading scheme. We shall look more closely at some of the implications and practical and fine art issues in the next chapters.
