Texas Ilford Film Labs: Some of the larger studios employ set designers, stylists, carpenters, painters, home economists, and many others, beside maintaining complete lab facilities for film processing, printing, quantity prints, and other capabilities. The smaller studio may buy all darkroom and printing services from custom labs. Some very successful photographers work almost exclusively on location, only renting studio space on the rare occasion that they need a studio.
Speedlights flash, the picture is taken, the film automatically advances, the shutter is cocked, and all is in readiness for the next child in the line. Similar cameras are available which operate with 35mm film. The smaller film cuts costs a bit but naturally the contact prints are not so appealing as those from the larger film.
