Winners Exhibition Form: Architecture's 53rd Annual P/A Award Winners exhibition Form Exhibition
Form did not prevail over substance at the 53rd Annual P/A Awards.
This year's selections elevated ideas over designs and favored investigations of public terrain over private domains.
The jury, which included Frank Barkow, Stephen Cassell, Phyllis Lambert, William E. Massie, and Richard Weinstein, selected eight projects from a research study that investigated expanded programming for infrastructure at a former logging site transformed into an interpretive park.
They will be included in a professionally produced Winners exhibition Form' Book, distributed at the ceremonies.
Selected Winners exhibition Form will also be part of a multi-page feature by BUILDER magazine, co-sponsor of Gold Nuggets and official publication of the National Association of Home Builders.
This show combines both to demonstrate that they share common ground and are worthy of public display in an uplifting and honorable manner, for your enjoyment.
The exhibition features Walter Gordinier, Susan McCracken, Katherine Linn, Christian Culver, Kenneth F. vonRoenn, Jr., Arthur Stern, Christina Lihan, AIA 2005 Design Winners exhibition Form.
